Terms
Last updated 17 October 2026
These terms cover your use of The Brains website (brains.ceo) and its MCP servers (mcp.brains.ceo). By using them, you agree to these terms.
The service
The Brains is free. Each brain is a searchable knowledge base built from a person's public talks, interviews, essays and posts. Brains are unofficial: they're not affiliated with or endorsed by the people they're about, unless a brain is marked "claimed".
Using it
- Use one account per person, and don't share your connection token.
- Don't scrape the servers in bulk, try to break them, or use them to overload other services.
- Don't present a brain's answers as the person's own words or endorsement. Check the cited source.
Content
Passages are summaries and short quotes, and every one links to its original source. The original content belongs to its authors. The code is open source under the MIT license. To correct, claim or remove a brain, email hello@brains.ceo.
No warranty
The Brains is provided as is. Answers can be incomplete or out of date, and they aren't professional, financial or legal advice. We may change, pause or end the service, or remove brains, at any time. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using it.
